Description

This BTEC Advanced Level 5 Foundation CCTV Systems Design course, is an interactive online course and is intended for people with little or no knowledge of CCTV. It has been specially designed to provide the underpinning knowledge and understanding required to be able to design a cost-effective CCTV system that conforms to current international and national standards.


It introduces the student to the basic fundamentals of closed circuit television. The student will learn the basic skills and underpinning knowledge to install and maintain closed circuit television.


Each section of the course covers a particular topic of CCTV without going into the technical or mathematical details which would be required by someone carrying out equipment servicing at component level or equipment design.


While working through the course, try to bear in mind not only the importance of the individual sections, but also be aware of the relationship between them and that they must all work with each other to create a system.
