Photography - Apertures - Bite Size

This short course is intended to help the student make use of the features found on modern digital cameras.

So often a camera with many features is purchased, and then only ever used on an automatic setting.  A modern mobile phone is not purchased, and then only used to make simple calls; ignoring text messaging, the camera and numerous applications. Why do this with a camera?

The two main settings that can be altered, giving so much more control over the image captured, are Aperture and Shutter.

This course will cover the Aperture only. However it needs to be remembered that the two are inter-dependent .
